Blue Cat Music (also known as the Musicum Ensemble) was established in 1988 and consists of professional musicians - current and past members of the old National Symphony Orchestra, Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, JHB Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of SA. Blue Cat Music performs as a two- or three- piece band with cello, violin and/or trumpet, as a string trio and duo, and other combinations. We also offer a Samro registered DJ service with professional sound equipment. We can therefore proudly recommend our services and guarantee the highest quality!

We add style to any number of functions, such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate functions.We perform a wide variety of music, including classical, arrangements from musicals, Pop, Jazz and traditional African songs.We cater for background music as well as solo or individual items for any occasion.

Blue Cat Music also performs as a string trio, violin & cello duo, violin & flute duo, solo violin or cello or any other combination required such as harp, trumpet, brass quintet, saxophone to name but a few.
