I like to create the dreams of elegant, stylish and happy people. For a short moment I share the joy and pleasure of unforgettable photography.
During my entire professional career I have photographed actors, models and famous personalities. Then, at the request of some friends living in Mauritius, just like myself, I 'took' their wedding pictures. It was such a revelation to me. Suddenly I discovered moments of complicity, shared emotions and a certain degree of intimacy.
I really enjoy working with couples full of energy in a happy environment. When you have fun it immediately shows in the pictures. They reflect an abundance of life - people appear relaxed and happy - filled with joy of the special day they are living.
How I work? It's simple. I see the image that I want to project and together we create the 'scene' with loads of energy and humour. I don't like posed pictures - I leave plenty of opportunity for spontaniety and coincidence.
I realise the privilege it is for me to be there and witness this special day, so my focus is to capture the emotions out through the day. I am conscious how important my pictures are for the memory of the couple, and I feel very responsible for that. Every time I am touched by the trust people put in me.
