Having a unique drink or cocktail at your wedding reception is perfect for creating memories. Even if you are not considering an open bar, it is a good idea to start off your wedding reception with "drinks all round". You could choose to go with a simple well known cocktail, bubbly or even make your own shooter and give it a wicked name!! Please use our list of cocktails and their recipes to help you make your choice or even spark the creativity in you. A great option is to have a cash bar but have a cocktail hour when guests can have a cocktail for free - this will help keep to your budget.

Having a drinks with a difference are the perfect way to have your wedding day remembered. Dont forget to cater for the non drinking guests. Maybe you should ask on your RSVP cards if guests are drinking or not. Water is a perfect option to have in jugs on the table and an assortment of soft drinks will probably do. Its is advisable to have a cash bar for spirits and mixers and only serve one type of beverage for free.
